LBJ to Become the Most Hated Cartoon Villain Since Gargamel

"The LeBrons" will debut in the next few months

Sometimes, LeBron James makes it a little too easy to become a target.

The ultimate villain in the sports world is now poised to become the biggest villain in the cartoon world.

The NBA's two-time reigning MVP and Spring Hill Productions formally announced plans Tuesday for a 10-episode digital series to be distributed online and slated to launch early this year.

The idea for the show, which will be shown on YouTube.com, is based somewhat on a recent series of Nike television commercials that showed James as several different animated characters. Kind of like the different Barbie versions, only more muscley.

From a picture of the cartoon cast, we can decipher that the main characters are a "Red Foxx" Lebron, a "Purple-suit Pimp" LeBron, a kid that looks nothing like Lebron and a muscle-bound super hero in a basketball uniform LeBron, which we guess is based off the reality version.

The show is called "The LeBrons," which ironically is the same nickname his Cleveland Cavalier teammates had when LBJ's talents still lived in Ohio.

That can't sit well with Cavs fans, who now have an even bigger reason to advocate for cartoon violence against James.

In a statement, James said the show "is a great way to show youths of all ages how to be a good person."

Hopefully, there won't be an episode called "The Decision."
