Snoop Dogg is getting a big-screen biopic. Universal Pictures announced Wednesday that the studio is developing a film about Snoop Dogg’s life to be produced by the 51-year-old rapper.

With the average 30-second Super Bowl ad costing about $6.5 million, companies look to reach key age demographics and provide an oasis from Covid concerns.

“It’s crazy that it took all of this time for us to be recognized,” Dr. Dre said.

In a press conference for Super Bowl LVI’s halftime show, the artist discussed what it means to perform with Snoop Dogg, Mary J. Blige, Kendrick Lamar, and Eminem on Sunday.

Andre Romelle Young, better known as Dr. Dre, is a highly successful American rapper, entrepreneur and record producer, founding Aftermath Entertainment, Beats Electronics, and Death Row Records.
