A South Florida woman who was sick of cooking for a man was arrested after she stabbed him with a kitchen knife, police said.
Lisa Cherry, 46, was arrested Monday in Lake Worth on aggravated battery charges after a food fight got out of hand, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office arrest affidavit.
A deputy was approached by the 56-year-old victim who said Cherry had been drinking beer and started throwing food out the door because she was sick of cooking for him.
The man told the deputy he threatened to cut Cherry's "pony tail off if she didn't stop throwing things," the affidavit said.
An upset Cherry picked up the knife, cut the home's phone lines and stabbed the man in the left hand, the report said. A witness confirmed the man's story, authorities said.
Cherry was being held on $1,000 bond Wednesday. It was unknown whether she has an attorney.
