    A toddler was struck and killed in a crash Saturday morning, according to Miami-Dade Fire Rescue.

    The crash happened at 160th Street and Northwest 27th Avenue in Miami Gardens at 10:35 a.m., officials said.

    The child, identified as 4-year-old Brianna Reese, was airlifted to Miami Children's Hospital in critical condition, according to Miami-Gardens Police. She later died from her injuries.

    Officials originally said the crash was a hit-and-run, but later said the driver stayed on scene.
